Avatr 06: Mid-Size Electric & Extended-Range Sedan | Pre-Sale Starts March 27

Avatr announced today that the Avatr 06 model has arrived at dealerships nationwide and will officially begin pre-sales on March 27th. As the fourth product under the Avatr brand, the new model is likely to be positioned as a mid-size vehicle, offering two versions: pure electric and extended-range electric vehicles. According to previous reports, the pricing of the Avatr 06 is expected to be lower than that of the Avatr 12

In terms of design, the Avatr 06 is built based on the AVATR 2.0 design philosophy and offers six exterior paint colors, including Smoky Purple, Vermilion Red, Jet Black, Moon Grey, Snow White, and Cloud Purple. The pure electric and extended-range versions of the new model share a largely identical design, with differences only in the internal structure of the lower air intake grille.

The Avatr 06 features a black trim panel that rises upward at the side skirt position and offers a roof in body color or black. In addition, the vehicle is expected to offer electronic exterior mirrors as an optional feature. The photographed model is equipped with Continental tires, with a specification of 255/40 R20.

The rear of the vehicle continues the design without a rear window, and the license plate area is treated with a polygonal shape. The taillights have a sleek design with high recognizability. The rear also features a spoiler and a diffuser to enhance the sporty feel. In terms of dimensions, the new model has a length of 4,855 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, a height of 1,450 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,940 mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan.

The interior of the Avatr 06 continues the family design style, featuring a floating central control screen, a flat-bottomed multifunctional steering wheel, and a lever-style gear shift mechanism. The far end of the dashboard is equipped with a display screen. It is reported that the vehicle will be equipped with features such as panoramic imaging, wireless charging, folding mirrors, automatic parking brake, and assisted parking.

According to previous information, the new model will be equipped with zero-gravity seats in the front row and an oxygen-enhancing cabin with nano-water ion air conditioning technology. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle will be available in two versions: one with a lidar (Huawei's 192-line lidar) and one with pure vision, supporting functions from parking space to parking space.

Based on previous application information, the Avatr 06 offers two power systems: pure electric and extended-range. The pure electric version is available in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor version has a maximum power output of 252 kW, while the dual-motor version has a front motor with a maximum power of 188 kW and a rear motor with a maximum power of 252 kW.

The extended-range version of the Avatr 06 is equipped with a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 115 kW and a drive motor with a maximum power of 231 kW. The vehicle also features a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The initial application versions have battery capacities of 31.7 kWh and 45.06 kWh, with pure electric ranges of 170 km and 240 km, respectively (the test conditions have not yet been disclosed). According to the image information, the new model offers four driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Personalized.
